The legal entity under the name in Greek "ΒΙΖΙΟΝ ΝΕΤΓΟΥΟΡΚ ΑΘΕΝΣ", and in English “VISION NETWORK ATHENS”, based in the Municipality of Athens, which is a non-profit association founded in 2018.

COLLECTION AND CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA

Your data is collected directly from you during your registration on our website (http://www.visionnetwork.eu) or during your communication with us at events and activities of the Association. This data mainly includes your full name and email address.

PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR DATA

The processing of collected personal data aims at better and more direct communication with interested parties and informing them about programs, events, and seminars organized by the Association. In all cases, any action of the Association (including personal data processing) aims, as stated in its charter, at promoting art and literature in all forms, culture in general, education, science and every specific field and/or branch of the aforementioned, international-mindedness, tolerance, social inclusion, and the idea of mutual understanding among peoples, as well as the promotion and development of a common European consciousness.

RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA

The processing is limited within the Association and personal data will be available exclusively to administrative staff bound by confidentiality obligations.

RETENTION AND SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

The above personal data is kept in the Association's records until you request in writing otherwise. We apply an appropriate level of security for data retention in accordance with the legal framework described above.

As prescribed by relevant regulations, as a data subject you have specific legal rights regarding the personal data collected. In particular:

  • You may request the deletion of your data (Right to erasure) or restriction of its processing (Right to restriction of processing)
  • You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data (Right to object), particularly to receiving updates via email—in which case we will stop sending updates.
  • At any time, you have the right to withdraw your consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal (Right to withdraw consent)
